Coats for Kids Cruise

Ride North Harley-Davidson’s Coats for Kids Cruise is a powerful way to wrap up the riding season with heart and purpose. Held this year on October 4th, the event brings together riders, donors, and community members to collect new and gently used winter outerwear for children in need in the greater Caribou area. In rural Northern Maine, where winters are long and brutal, many families struggle to provide adequate winter clothing for their children. This annual charity ride helps ensure that local kids stay warm, safe, and cared for through the cold months.

Each year, Ride North partners with local schools to distribute donated coats, hats, mittens, ski pants, scarves, and more to students in need. The event features a scenic fall ride, free BBQ lunch for donors, raffles, in-store specials, and donation opportunities through ride fees or cash contributions all going directly to the cause. Whether you ride or just stop by to drop off a donation, your support makes a real difference. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, this year’s event supported not only our two selected schools but even more kids than expected.

Together, we ride with purpose. Together, we ride for the kids.
